How TRAVELPASHA reports, sources and discloses.

Independence

TRAVELPASHA is an independent editorial publication. Hotels, airlines, cruise lines and destinations have no say over coverage, review verdicts, or whether they are mentioned. Sponsored content, where it appears, is clearly labelled "Sponsored" and is separated from editorial both visually and in the URL path.

Bylines and accountability

Every story is signed. We do not publish anonymously except in rare cases involving demonstrable risk to a source, and only with editor approval recorded in our internal log.

Sourcing

Every factual claim of consequence — rates, opening dates, ownership changes, route launches, awards, regulations — is sourced to a publicly verifiable document we link inline. The primary sources section at the foot of each article aggregates those links.

Reviews

Hotel, restaurant and cabin reviews are based on first-hand visits. We pay our own way wherever practical; where a stay is hosted or discounted, we disclose it at the foot of the review and the verdict remains entirely the writer's. We do not accept gifts of any cash value or "fam trips" tied to coverage guarantees.

Conflicts of interest

Writers and editors recuse themselves from coverage of properties, operators or destinations in which they hold a financial or personal interest. Affiliate links, if used, never influence the choice of property reviewed or recommended.

Images

All photographs are licensed and credited. We do not stage scenes, retouch beyond standard colour correction, or pass off AI-generated imagery as photojournalism.

Use of AI

AI tools assist with research, translation, fact-pattern detection and image search at the editorial desk. They do not replace reporting, verification, or judgement. No article is published without a named human editor having read and approved it.
