Fusion Hotel Group's latest property in Seminyak, Bali, features a lobby adorned with locally sourced textiles, highlighting the region's artisanal heritage. As of October 2023, under CEO Eko Prasetyo, the group is integrating diverse hotel brands to meet travelers' needs in Indonesia.

Indonesia's tourism landscape is shifting, with international arrivals reaching 15 million in 2023, driven by cultural tourism. Fusion's brand strategy aims to capture this market.

The new 'Nusantara Retreat' offers wellness experiences, tapping into the growing health tourism trend in Bali. "Indonesia's diverse tourist appeal requires a nuanced approach," Prasetyo says. "With Nusantara Retreat, we aim to attract wellness seekers looking for authentic experiences surrounded by nature."

Opened in September 2023, Nusantara Retreat blends traditional Indonesian healing with modern wellness techniques, offering treatments with local ingredients in a serene setting. This approach aligns with Fusion's strategy of providing tailored, culturally authentic experiences.

Fusion enhances existing brands by introducing co-working spaces in urban hotels, aligning with the remote work trend. According to STR, co-working spaces in hotels have increased by 30% in Indonesia.

The flagship property in Jakarta now includes a co-working lounge with high-speed internet, catering to business travelers. "Our goal is to create an environment where business meets pleasure," says Marissa Supriyadi, General Manager of the Jakarta property.

Fusion Hotel Group is committed to sustainability, implementing eco-friendly practices across all properties, in line with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry's guidelines. Prasetyo notes, "Sustainability is a fundamental principle that guides our brand decisions."

The competitive Indonesian market presents challenges, requiring strategic partnerships and local engagement. Prasetyo states, "Our success hinges on being both locally rooted and globally recognized."

Fusion Hotel Group's adaptive approach positions them well in Indonesia’s hospitality landscape. Their focus on innovation and responsiveness suggests a resilient brand presence.
