Dubai's Hospitality Shines at Industry Awards

Dubai's InterContinental Festival City hosted the Stars of the Industry awards on 12 October 2023, celebrating achievements in hospitality. Organized by the Dubai Hospitality Excellence Council, this event highlights the importance of recognizing service and innovation.

The ceremony featured awards like Best Luxury Hotel and Best Culinary Experience. Each award sets a quality benchmark within the hospitality community.

Khalid Al Abbar, Chairman of the Dubai Hospitality Excellence Council, stated, "Events like the Stars of the Industry are crucial for encouraging members of our community to strive for excellence. They provide a platform for collective recognition and celebrate our commitment to exceptional service."

Over 500 professionals attended, including hotel executives and chefs, celebrating their peers' accomplishments. This camaraderie was evident as nominees received their accolades, acknowledging the hard work that defines the UAE's hospitality industry.

The Best Luxury Hotel award went to Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. "Our guests expect the highest standards, and we strive to exceed those expectations daily," said Anthony Costa, General Manager of Burj Al Arab.

Zuma Dubai won the Outstanding Culinary Experience award, highlighting its innovative approach to Japanese cuisine. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa remarked, "It is an honour to be recognised in a city that is rapidly becoming a culinary hotspot. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of flavour and technique in every dish we serve."
